Experience

Every dancer selected to participate in PIVOT 2026 receives three core components as part of their tuition:

Participation in the Intensive matching your chosen professional pathway: Concert, Commercial, Stage, or Dance Team.

Dancers will train, create, and collaborate with leading industry professionals through technique classes, repertory, and professional development sessions. Each Intensive is designed to provide an immersive, real-world look at what it takes to transition from student to working artist.

Led by Mandy Moore, this exclusive 4–5 hour experience goes beyond traditional training, offering dancers a deeper understanding of what it truly means to build a sustainable career in the industry. (This is not a dance class experience.)

Through a series of curated conversations and guided sessions, participants will explore how to navigate the realities of the professional world, and begin thinking beyond the studio. Topics may include developing the tools to manage your career, finances, and long-term future as an artist, as well as entrepreneurship within the dance industry, building a personal brand, and exploring opportunities beyond performance (including choreography and creative direction).

This experience is designed to shift perspective, from simply training as a dancer to thinking, planning, and operating as a professional.

Please note: The exact schedule for PIVOT at Press Play Nationals will be released two weeks prior. This session may take place anytime between July 5-12, 2026, and we recommend arriving in Las Vegas no later than July 4.

Participation in a 4-part virtual mentorship series, consisting of four 1-hour live Zoom sessions with Mandy Moore and special guest speakers.

Held over a 6-month period following Press Play Nationals, this interactive series offers continued guidance, professional insight, and real conversations around navigating the transition from student to working artist.
